Selinitsa - Agios Nikolaos
The village of Agios Nikolaos was known for many years, and is still referred to by
many local people as Selinitsa. Changing the name has done nothing to alter the charm
of this village located in Southern Greece.
Neighbouring villages include Stoupa, Lefktro, Kardamyli, Platza, Neochori, Agios Dimitrios and Riglia.
The area, like most of Greece is full of history, most notably, just outside Stoupa the area of Kalogria is famous for being the setting where the real life activities of Nikos Kazantakis formed the basis of his book Zorba the Greek. Now the local villages of Stoupa, Kardamyli, and Agios Nikolaos provide superb holiday settings.
